FILING AN ASYLUM APPLICATION

The one-stop shop (GUDA) of the Seine-Maritime prefecture is responsible for registering asylum applications from foreign nationals present in Seine-Maritime and Eure. In order to obtain an appointment at the GUDA, asylum seekers must first and compulsorily go to the first reception structure managed by the France Terre d'Asile association (152 rue Gambetta in Petit-Quevilly).

On arrival at the prefecture, the asylum seeker must present the summons issued by France Terre d'Asile. They must also provide 4 recent, perfectly resembling, bare-headed passport photographs measuring 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm.

On the day of the appointment, asylum seekers will be interviewed successively by an agent of the prefecture and then by an auditor from the French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII). At the end of these interviews, the applicant is given the first certificate of the asylum application.
